Darren always had an interest in publishing and began working with the State Government of Victoria (Department of Premier and Cabinet) producing an internal fortnightly publication. He then moved into the former Department of Human Services in their Communications Division which provided him with the necessary skills to launch his own business Ideal Formats, which now provides services to several state government departments and the private sector. He has a strong reputation for building excellent client relationships, delivering high quality materials using an extensive range of design techniques and software packages. Sam Macgeorge
Designer and Illustrator
Sam has worked extensively in the art, design and film worlds in a multitude of roles throughout his career; from screenwriter, director, art director, production designer, researcher, storyboard artist, visual merchandiser, graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, landscaper and interior designer. He has received numerous local and international awards for his work within the film industry. Sam is also a commissioned portrait painter and a fine artist. It is rare in the design industry to be able to offer clients customised illustrations within a reasonable budget and this makes Ideal formats the design firm of choice for clients seeking an edge in their marketplace.
Juan Carlos Saez
Designer
Juan Carlos graduated from Swinburne University of Technology with high distinctions. His work has been exhibited at Victoria’s Design Festival. He was also in the top four of the statewide design competition, Venture Cup 2010. Juan Carlos specialises in communication strategy, packaging design, publication concepts and formats as well as typography. His extensive overseas travels had added other dimensions to his design capability and it is often this distinctive flair which has delivered unique results for clients.
Nicole Ralph

Nicole has worked her entire professional life in I.T. When she finished uni in the late 90's the net was boring text on screen with the odd image thrown in. Today it’s the most amazingly colourful, engaging and interactive library – ever! To keep up with the internet Nicole has continued to go back to night school to learn the latest coding languages and visual graphic skills. Her designs are clean, clear and well considered.
